What it is

A monthly, invite-only BBQ for founders and executives. Same day every month, every chapter, every city. Free to join the club, pay to eat. One founder hosts each event, cooks the meal at their own expense, and picks the cause. The bulk of donations go to that cause, with a small skim funding the running of the club globally — every number published openly. No pitching, no recruiting, no media. Just good food and real conversation.

Why it exists

Founders and operators rarely get a room where nobody is selling them anything. This is that room, with meat on a grill.

The eight principles

  1. Founders and executives only, past or present. One guest allowed per member.
  2. Membership is free. Events are pay-to-attend through a minimum per-seat donation, priced to the city, with the option to give more.
  3. The host pays for the meal and cooks it. Host pays no donation that night.
  4. The vast majority of donations go to a vetted cause chosen by the host. A small operations skim (5%) funds the running of the club globally. Payment processing (around 3%) is disclosed openly. Every number published monthly.
  5. 15–30 people per event. Intimate by design. If demand exceeds capacity, split into two events, not one bigger one.
  6. One event per chapter per month, worldwide, on the same calendar day. First Saturday of the month is the default.
  7. Venues provide space free of charge in exchange for drink sales, guaranteed headcount, and post-event publicity.
  8. No pitching from the floor. No recruiting from the room. No press, no posts, no photos without consent.

  • Not a charity in itself — a vehicle that routes money to vetted causes
